Bitget and Chorus One Expand Monad Staking Access in Emerging Markets

  • The collaboration followed Monad’s mainnet launch in November 2025.
  • Chorus One secures over $3.5 billion across more than 30 blockchains.
  • More than $6 million was staked in the program’s first week.

Chorus One has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Bitget to expand global access to staking for Monad.

The collaboration focuses on simplifying how users interact with the Monad network, which launched its mainnet in November 2025.

This move emphasizes infrastructure growth, broader user access, and expanded staking services.

Both companies confirmed that Bitget’s more than 120 million users will be able to access staking tools through Chorus One’s platform, creating new pathways for participating in the evolving staking economy.

Validator expansion

Monad is a Layer 1 blockchain designed for high throughput.

According to technical documentation, it supports Ethereum contracts without requiring code changes.

The Bitget–Chorus One integration aims to support a validator ecosystem that can scale with decentralization, geographic diversity, and long-term stability.

Chorus One already secures assets on over 30 blockchains and reports more than $3.5 billion in staked assets.

The platform also holds ISO 27001 certification, a recognized standard for security practices.

This places the partnership within a broader trend where staking providers with strong compliance frameworks play a central role in blockchain infrastructure.

User access

Monad allows users to unstake assets in roughly 5.5 hours. Chorus One’s staking model supports flexible terms, enabling both institutional and retail Bitget users to stake or restake Monad tokens according to their preferences.

The partnership creates a direct path for Bitget users into the Monad ecosystem.

In the first week after the staking program’s launch, Chorus One reported more than $6 million in assets staked on the network.

Rapid participation indicates strong interest in Monad’s performance-focused design and its integration with a major exchange ecosystem, reflecting broad demand for accessible staking opportunities worldwide.

Market expansion

Bitget operates across multiple regions, including Asia-Pacific and Africa.

The platform’s presence in these areas gives the new staking program wider reach, especially where demand for digital assets is growing.

Chorus One has previously worked with the Avalanche Foundation to expand validator infrastructure across Africa, positioning the company to help drive similar regional development for the Monad network.

The firms said the partnership aims to support crypto adoption in emerging markets by providing tools that lower barriers to entry and increase access to blockchain-based services.

As new networks like Monad develop, staking options become a practical way for users in emerging regions to participate in blockchain activity without needing complex or specialized hardware.
