The hackathon is open to hobbyists and builders worldwide. Developer ecosystems HackQuest and OpenBuild are providing tools, visibility for new projects, and mentorship.

The organizers emphasize that the event is about practical innovation rather than hype-driven trends.

Building to solve real problems

Mantle has made clear what it expects from participants: relevant products that address real user problems.

The judging process will prioritize five core pillars: scalability, product design, technical execution, Mantle integration, and market potential.

The Mantle team stressed that successful entries should focus on market utility rather than flashy demos.

This hackathon is intended for serious builders, not short-term opportunists. As the organizers put it:

Build something that lasts, not just what’s trendy. Focus on execution, usability, and real impact. Most importantly, solve users’ needs.

Participants have ample time to design and refine their innovative projects.

Registration and building start this month, with winners announced in February.

Content creators have time to plan, test, and polish their ideas before presenting them to the wider crypto community and judges.

For context, the hackathon features a diverse panel of judges made up of well-known figures from the blockchain community.

The roster includes 0x Todd, Trustless State, Notaciccap, and several others with experience in venture capital, DeFi innovation, and product development.

The sizeable judging team adds credibility to the event.

Their collective expertise sets high expectations and ensures projects are evaluated for real impact and creative innovation.

Mantle and Bybit prioritize real-world solutions

The five-month hackathon coincides with Mantle’s current partnership with centralized exchange Bybit, an initiative meant to connect liquidity providers, real-world asset opportunities, and developers.

The two partners aim to democratize on-chain finance for what they describe as a trillion-dollar industry.

The initiative reflects Mantle’s mission to expand beyond its core network and build an international developer community to accelerate financial innovation.

MNT price outlook

Mantle’s native token mirrored broader market sentiment today.

MNT lost nearly 10% of its value over the past 24 hours, trading at $1.64.

Sluggish daily trading volumes indicate waning trader interest amid a bearish cryptocurrency environment.

The total market capitalization of digital tokens fell 5% in the last 24 hours to $3.65 trillion, influenced in part by regulatory tensions.

Still, analysts remain cautiously optimistic, projecting a substantial recovery in Q4 and into 2026.

Meanwhile, the ongoing hackathon could enhance MNT’s utility and trading volumes, potentially supporting a steadier price trajectory over time.
