Zonda Expands Crypto Trading Services into Denmark

Zonda recently expanded into Italy and secured regulatory approval to operate in Canada.

Zonda, a regulated cryptocurrency exchange registered in Estonia, has extended its services to Denmark, the company announced in a news release.

The Danish office will be based in Copenhagen and will host a team of developers led by Zonda’s CTO, Jakob Lundqvist.

This new location will support Zonda’s technology development and product rollout as the company serves both retail and corporate clients across multiple markets.

Zonda aims for wider European presence

Founded in 2014, Zonda is one of the largest exchanges in Eastern and Central Europe. It currently serves more than one million users and lists over 60 cryptocurrencies.

Customers can buy or swap supported coins and tokens using major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), as well as major fiat currencies including the euro, British pound, US dollar and Polish zloty (PLN). The platform also supports stablecoins such as Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC).

For retail users, Zonda provides a consumer-facing experience through the ZondaPay app and offers educational resources and training via Zonda Academy.

The move into Denmark is part of a broader strategy to grow across Europe. Zonda has recently entered the Italian market and is pursuing registration and licensing in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Outside Europe, Zonda has obtained regulatory approval to offer its services and products in Canada, further supporting its international expansion plans.
