The combined market and social sentiment is seen as the key reason behind the token’s short-term upswing.
Roadmap and leadership
CEO Ben Livshits has also played a role in the recent momentum by revealing the project’s roadmap. He stated that the team is focused on building and integrating metaverse, gaming, and DeFi applications, signaling a strategic push into these high-interest areas.

Livshits outlined a roadmap intended to guide the project toward its future goals and strengthen its position in the ecosystem.
Zilliqa partnerships
Zilliqa has formed partnerships with organizations such as the Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA) to reveal Metapolis, described by Zilliqa as the first “Metaverse as a Service” platform built on sharding technology. BGA also announced collaboration with Atomic Wallet to support Zilliqa’s blockchain-based non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
In addition, the ZIL token has been listed on multiple cryptocurrency exchanges recently, including BitGet, BitPanda, and Binance, improving accessibility for traders and investors.
The Zilliqa team has commented on Metapolis rumors, describing Metapolis as an extended-reality environment with powerful features. The project has also noted that Zilliqa-based networks have surpassed two million blocks, reflecting continued development on the blockchain.
