Among the top 50 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, ICP—the native token of the Internet Computer ecosystem—has been the standout performer. Over the past 24 hours ICP has outpaced many major rivals, and over the last seven days the token has added more than 15% to its value.
There is no single clear catalyst driving ICP’s recent strength. Market observers note that growing community interest around DFINITY’s upcoming SUPERNOVA hackathon may be contributing to positive sentiment. The event is an Internet Computer developer competition that could showcase notable projects built on the protocol.
