Valkyrie Investments, a prominent investment firm specializing in digital assets, has completed a strategic fundraising round that raised more than $11 million.
The oversubscribed round secured $11.15 million from a group of institutional and venture investors, including BNY Mellon, Coinbase Ventures, Wedbush Financial Services, and Clearsky. Other participants included Zilliqa Capital, SenaHill Partners, C-Squared Ventures, and Belvedere Strategic Capital.
Steven McClurg, co-founder and chief investment officer of Valkyrie, said the successful funding reflects strong investor confidence in both the crypto sector and Valkyrie’s long-term vision and product roadmap.
Proceeds from the round will be used to advance the company’s proprietary technology infrastructure and to expand the team through targeted hiring. These investments aim to improve operational capacity and accelerate product development.
McClurg added that the new capital will help Valkyrie enhance the breadth and quality of its services across the market, and support deeper integration between its digital-asset offerings and traditional financial platforms.
Valkyrie is an established participant in the crypto investment space, providing a range of products that give institutional investors exposure to digital assets. Last year the firm launched a Bitcoin Futures ETF, and it is among several companies pursuing approval to offer a Bitcoin spot ETF.
