LUNA needs to clear $95 to set the stage for a move above $100.
For the second consecutive day, Terra (LUNA) opened lower. The token posted several bullish spikes earlier in March but has since entered a period of consolidation. Despite the slowdown, LUNA is approaching a key overhead resistance area. Can it push beyond $100?

Terra (LUNA) – How soon could it reach $100?
The broader crypto market appears to be stabilizing after recent sharp volatility, but several macro factors that weighed on sentiment remain. Inflation is still elevated and geopolitical tensions in Europe could continue to affect the global recovery.
That said, some of these risks may already be priced in after the market moves of the last few weeks. For LUNA specifically, the immediate technical hurdle is $95. The token has traded in a narrow band between $85 and $95 in recent sessions.
A decisive close above $95 would likely generate enough upside momentum to push LUNA toward and potentially above $100. However, momentum indicators, including the Relative Strength Index (RSI), are currently showing bearish readings. A pullback toward the 50-day simple moving average, near $75, remains a plausible scenario before any renewed advance.
Why consider LUNA as an investment?
Terra (LUNA) is a platform closely associated with algorithmic stablecoins and has become more integrated within the crypto ecosystem. Supporters view it as an important piece of the evolving stablecoin landscape, which contributes to its investment appeal.
LUNA experienced significant declines in 2022, but proponents expect a recovery over time as market conditions improve and development progresses. For investors who have not yet taken a position, the current consolidation phase may present a window to evaluate the token within a longer-term portfolio strategy, keeping in mind the risks and volatility inherent to digital assets.
