SpaceCatch, a new AR Move-to-Earn (M2E) game, has confirmed the public beta release date. After a long development period, the game—featuring a range of polished systems and player benefits—will launch its public beta on April 22, 2024.
Set in a near-future world where Earth is under siege by AI-driven alien forces, SpaceCatch casts players as “Catchers” tasked with defending humanity and restoring peace. How it works
SpaceCatch integrates several modern technologies to deliver its gameplay through two primary models: Play-to-Earn (P2E) and Move-to-Earn (M2E). In the P2E model, players engage in combat against AI-controlled alien threats to progress and earn rewards within the game.
The M2E model leverages augmented reality (AR), allowing the SpaceCatch universe to blend with real-world environments. Players can encounter alien activity while walking in a park, relaxing at home, or traveling—creating spontaneous and context-aware gameplay moments.
In addition, SpaceCatch uses artificial intelligence to personalize the experience. NPC behaviors, encounters, and some content adapt to a player’s choices, preferences, and playstyle, making each player’s journey unique.

SpaceCatch has issued a native token called CATCH, which functions as an in-game resource and as a tradable digital asset. CATCH has been distributed during fundraising events and can also be earned through specific in-game actions.
