Although much of the cryptocurrency market is trading lower across daily, weekly, and monthly timeframes, Pi Network’s native token has been one of the weakest performers, slipping toward the all-time low reached in February.
This decline has occurred despite ongoing project updates and the release of new games aimed at Pioneers.
PI Price Sinks
Over the past week, crypto markets have seen significant losses, with Bitcoin falling to just above $65,000 and Ethereum sliding toward $1,800. Most altcoins are down, and PI is no exception. Over the last month PI has dropped about 22%, reaching $0.136 earlier today — its lowest level since February.
In February, the token faced repeated rejections near $0.20 and subsequently hit an all-time low of $0.1312. The following month delivered stronger performance: PI more than doubled in value by Pi Day 2026 (March 14) after it was listed on Kraken, but that rally proved short-lived. The listing triggered a classic sell-the-news response, and PI plunged again to under $0.18.
Today’s slide below $0.14 followed sustained selling pressure and the loss of several key support levels, including $0.18 and $0.16.
Data from PiScan indicates the average daily number of tokens scheduled for release over the next month is roughly 5.4 million, but several individual days will see larger unlocks — including days with more than 10 million tokens, and one day with roughly 16 million. Those sizeable unlocks may increase near-term selling pressure and contribute to further price declines.
New Games for Pioneers
CiDi Games, a portfolio company within Pi Network Ventures, recently updated the community about new games built for Pioneers. Both CiDi Games and the Pi Core Team confirmed that a selection of these titles is already available.
“CiDi Games gives Pioneers new ways to use Pi through gaming, while also extending the Pi ecosystem with infrastructure that can support more games and developers over time.”
The initial lineup includes:
🕹️ Coin Whack — an arcade roguelike
🍓 Fruit Stack — a match-3 fruit puzzle
💎 Gemnova — a cosmic match-3 adventure
🌈 RainbowCubes — a colorful elimination puzzle
Separately, the Pi Network Core Team announced the successful deployment of protocol update version 23 and indicated that version 24 was expected to be completed by June 2. As of this writing, official confirmation of version 24’s completion has not been posted.
