The overall crypto market is bearish, with the majority of the top 100 coins trading in the red at the time of writing.
Top Cryptocurrencies
Most major cryptocurrencies experienced modest losses over the past 24 hours, generally falling up to around 2%. This includes Ethereum, BNB, XRP and Solana. Bitcoin slipped more than 1.5% in the last 24 hours and was trading just below $30,000 at the time of writing.
Notable underperformers included Polkadot, which fell nearly 5%, and Avalanche, which lost more than 3%.
Big Movers
The trend outside the top 20 was similar, with most coins losing 3–5% of their value. Significant declines were seen in Maker and The Graph, each down about 8%, and Celo, which dropped roughly 7%. Kadena fell sharply today, losing around 11% of its value.
TerraUSD plunged a further 18%, and is now trading at about one-tenth of its former value.
On the winners’ side, Kyber Network Crystal v2 led gains. KNC rose 22% yesterday and added another 26% today, re-testing last week’s highs.
Chiliz was the second strongest performer, up about 12% at the time of writing. CHZ, the native token of the first tokenized sports exchange, picked up momentum after the Scoville Testnet ecosystem entered operational phase 2.
Other notable winners included Convex Finance, Klaytn and KuCoin Token, which saw gains of approximately 4%, 6% and 5%, respectively.
Trends
The biggest gainer today was Pledge Coin (PLG), an Ethereum-based token. Pledgecamp is a next-generation crowdfunding platform that uses smart escrow contracts to protect investors and hold project creators accountable. PLG surged about 440% today.
