Lock.com Launches Early Access with Isolated Signing and Post-Quantum Security

[PRESS RELEASE – London, United Kingdom, May 18th, 2026]

Quantography Labs today announced the early-access release of Lock.com, a hardware-free cryptocurrency wallet that uses an isolated, air-gapped security model to protect private keys.

Lock.com is now open to early access participants. The platform separates private key storage from network-connected systems, eliminating the need for dedicated hardware wallet devices while maintaining strong offline key security.

For years, hardware wallets have been the standard for safeguarding digital assets, but they require trust in the physical device, the manufacturer, and the supply chain. Lock.com avoids those dependencies by structurally separating the signing environment from the broadcasting environment.

In Lock.com’s model, private keys remain on a fully offline signer. Transactions are prepared and broadcast on a connected device, but the sensitive signing operation only occurs in the air-gapped environment. Private keys never touch the internet, and the solution is designed to work with devices users already own instead of relying on purpose-built hardware.

The product was born out of frustration with the current state of crypto security. Many users still lose funds—not because self-custody is inherently flawed, but because the software environments surrounding hardware solutions often lack rigorous isolation and design. Lock.com aims to close that gap by delivering a practical, user-focused architecture that enforces separation between signing and broadcasting.

Lock.com’s architecture is built to be both forward-looking and privacy-minded. It integrates post-quantum cryptographic standards, including ML-DSA signatures and ML-KEM key encapsulation, as part of the isolated signing approach. The combination is intended to provide stronger resilience against future threats while preserving a simple user experience.

The early access phase will focus on collecting user feedback and real-world usage insights before general availability. Interested users can enroll in early access at https://www.lock.com/ to try the isolated wallet workflow and provide feedback to the development team.
