Industrial Revolution in Togo: Binance to Create 1,000 Jobs

After Binance announced two days ago that it would support the Crypto Savannah project—creating jobs and providing financial access for people in Uganda—the company’s outreach continues. Binance’s CEO said he sees Togo as another investment opportunity for job creation and future cooperation.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao spent recent days on a trip through Africa, forging multiple partnerships. As previously reported, Binance will partner with the Ugandan startup Crypto Savannah to help strengthen the local economy.

Recently Zhao announced on Twitter that he intends to help usher in the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Togo, promising the creation of thousands of jobs and opportunities for the country’s youth.

to embark a new journey for Africa to embrace the 4th industrial revolutions for the youth. The aim of the project is to create thousands of jobs and brings billions of investments to Togo.

Minutes later he tweeted that Togo’s prime minister had handed him a personally signed letter outlining the intention to pursue a partnership between Binance and Togo.

Binance has indicated potential investments in the billions and plans to create a trainee program targeting the country’s young people. Public sentiment in Togo has been tense recently due to recurring unrest and protests.

The prospect of a partnership with Binance appears to offer new hope for economic improvement and greater stability across the country.

So far, no detailed framework for the collaboration has been released. It remains to be seen what concrete plans Zhao and Binance will present next.
