Buy Crypto on Bybit with Credit and Debit Cards Today

Bybit exchange has made it easier for users to buy cryptocurrencies on its platform.

Bybit, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced today that it now supports purchases of cryptocurrencies using credit and debit cards. This means users can buy digital assets with fiat currencies through Visa and Mastercard.

In a press release shared with CoinJournal, Bybit explained that users will be able to enter their payment details, accept the quoted price and complete the purchase via the Visa or Mastercard network.

The exchange said it supports multiple fiat currencies, including the euro, the US dollar and the British pound. The service will be available to any eligible user with a Bybit account.

Ben Zhou, Bybit’s co‑founder and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the new capability. He said:

“Bybit users can now easily buy crypto assets like Bitcoin, collect NFTs on our marketplace or allocate capital in other ways to pursue their financial goals. This integration brings a new level of convenience, allowing users to access the world‑class liquidity and reliability offered by Bybit.”

To celebrate the integration, the exchange announced a temporary fee waiver for credit and debit card purchases for customers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area through May 17, 2022.

After that promotional period, Bybit stated that customers purchasing cryptocurrencies via this integration would pay some of the lowest fees in the industry for card-based purchases, with rates starting at 1.1% for purchases originating from European Union countries.

Founded in March 2018, Bybit is known for offering a professional trading platform that features an ultra-fast matching engine, strong customer support and multilingual community assistance.

The company has grown into one of the fastest‑expanding crypto exchanges globally, operating across multiple European markets.
