Bitget and Chorus One Expand Monad Staking Options in Emerging Markets

  • Collaboration follows the Monad mainnet launch in November 2025.
  • Chorus One secures over $3.5 billion in assets across 30 blockchains.
  • More than $6 million was staked in the program’s first week.

Chorus One has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Bitget to broaden global access to Monad staking.

The collaboration focuses on simplifying how users interact with the Monad network, which launched its mainnet in November 2025.

The move highlights growth in infrastructure, improved user access, and a wider shift toward staking services.

Both companies confirmed that Bitget’s more than 120 million users will have access to staking tools via Chorus One’s platform, creating new opportunities to participate in the expanding staking economy.

Validator expansion

Monad is a layer-1 blockchain designed for high throughput.

According to its technical documentation, it supports Ethereum contracts without code changes.

The Bitget–Chorus One integration focuses on supporting a validator environment that can grow through decentralization, geographic diversity, and long-term resilience.

Chorus One already secures assets across more than 30 blockchains and reports having over $3.5 billion in staked assets.

The platform also holds ISO 27001 certification, a recognized standard for evaluating security practices.

This places the partnership within a broader trend where staking service providers with stronger compliance frameworks play a central role in blockchain infrastructure.

User access

Monad allows users to unstake assets in approximately 5.5 hours. Chorus One’s staking model supports flexible terms, enabling both institutional and retail Bitget users to stake or redeem Monad tokens according to their preferences.

The collaboration creates a direct path for Bitget users to enter the Monad ecosystem.

In the first week following the staking program launch, Chorus One reported that over $6 million worth of assets had already been staked into the network.

Rapid participation demonstrates interest in Monad’s performance-focused design and its integration with a major exchange ecosystem, reflecting broader demand for accessible staking opportunities worldwide.

Market expansion

Bitget operates across multiple regions, including the Asia-Pacific and African markets.

The platform’s presence in these areas gives the new staking program wider reach, especially where demand for digital assets is increasing.

Chorus One has previously partnered with the Avalanche Foundation to expand validator infrastructure in Africa, positioning the company to support similar regional development for the Monad network.

The firms said the partnership aims to support cryptocurrency adoption in emerging markets by providing tools that lower barriers to entry and increase access to blockchain-based services.

As new networks like Monad grow, staking options are becoming a way for users in developing regions to engage with blockchain activity without needing complex technical setups or advanced hardware.
