Top Cryptocurrencies
At the time of writing, Bitcoin has increased by roughly 3% and was trading above $41,000. Other major cryptocurrencies are also higher: Ethereum is up about 1%, while Cardano and XRP rose approximately 1% and 2%, respectively.
Avalanche, which ranks tenth, climbed around 5%. NEAR continues its upward momentum and gained another 5% today.

Altcoins within the top-100 are delivering strong performances today. Notable gainers include THORChain (+17%), BitTorrent Token (BTT) (+9%), Chiliz (+11%), OKB and Kava (both +10%), Compound (+18%), Moonbeam (+13%), Kyber Network (+23%), Audius (+20%), Bitcoin Cash (+13%), and ApeCoin (+8%).
KNC, the native token of Kyber Network, has expanded across ten different blockchains, integrated with Uniswap v3, and joined new developer incentives on Avalanche. These developments helped KNC surge about 50% a few days ago, and the token is continuing to climb today.
Moonbeam has participated in several important global events and forums focused on the crypto space, including a major gathering in Amsterdam. Compound gained momentum following its recent listing on Robinhood, which also added tokens such as Shiba Inu, Polygon, and Solana.
THORChain rose after the launch of the open beta for THORSwap V2. The updated user interface promises a sleek, user-friendly experience and will support cross-chain trading and improved liquidity provider interactions. Today also saw the opening of the world’s first Bitcoin Cash ATM.
