Chingari, India’s fastest-growing and most popular short-video app, has signed an exclusive partnership with Fashion TV (FTV), a leading global channel focused on fashion and lifestyle broadcasting. This marks the first time Fashion TV has collaborated exclusively with a video app anywhere in the world.
Under the partnership, Chingari — which operates with the native GARI token from Gari Network — will be able to stream Fashion TV content directly within its app.
Both parties have also teamed up to release 100 GARI Panda NFTs. Holders of these limited NFTs will receive a range of perks, including invitations to Fashion TV fashion shows and exclusive parties, as well as access to Fashion Metaverse events and more.
Following the announcement, Chingari’s CEO and co-founder, Sumit Ghosh, commented:
“We are delighted to announce the partnership between Chingari, powered by GARI, and Fashion TV. This collaboration will be mutually beneficial for both brands, and Chingari will hold exclusive rights to stream Fashion TV content on its platform. Additionally, the 100 exclusive GARI Panda NFTs alongside Fashion TV NFTs are set to create significant excitement among artists and celebrities worldwide.”
Michel Adam Lisowski, President of Fashion TV, added:
“This partnership fits our vision of making premium content from top designers, models and photographers in the fashion industry accessible to a wider audience. The Fashion TV–GARI Panda NFT offering is an exciting new opportunity for the community, where early participants could enjoy substantial rewards.”
Chingari and the GARI Token
Launched in 2018, Chingari has become India’s fastest-growing short-video platform, hosting a broad variety of entertainment categories such as dance, transformations, singing and creative talent showcases.
The diverse Chingari platform engages more than 130 million users across India and supports content in over 15 languages.
The GARI token enables Chingari creators to monetize short videos through the Gari Network and earn passive income. As a result, the Chingari–Fashion TV partnership is expected to have a positive effect on the GARI token’s market dynamics—potentially supporting demand after recent downward pressure on its price.
